Children's Ministry

Our children’s ministry is designed for Pre-K through 5th grade kids and is a welcoming, energetic space where kids discover God’s love, learn about Jesus, and grow in their faith through hands-on fun and meaningful connection. Ark Kids offers a place for children to feel safe, seen, and supported as they build lasting friendships and deepen their relationship with Christ. We’d love for your family to be part of all that Children’s Ministry has to offer—come explore, grow, and celebrate with us!

SUNDAY MORNING

Nursery

9:00am-12:00pm

Our Nursery is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM every Sunday, providing a safe, loving, and supervised space for our youngest children. For families who prefer to stay together, a Cry Room is available in the Sanctuary during our 11:00 AM service, offering a quiet, comfortable place to participate in worship while tending to your little ones.

Stay and Play

9:00am

For families attending our 9:00 AM worship service, Stay & Play offers a fun, fully supervised space where older little ones—who are comfortable being left independently—can enjoy free play. Children are invited to color, read, build with Legos, and explore a variety of engaging activities while parents participate in worship.

Sunday School

10:00am

At Sunday School, kids dive into Bible stories, hands-on activities, and faith-filled adventures. Designed to be both fun and meaningful, this traditional program helps children grow closer to Jesus, make new friends, and discover how God’s love is alive in their everyday lives.

Children's Chat

11:00am

Children are invited to start the service with their families and then join our Children’s Ministry Director for Children’s Chat, a worship experience designed just for them. Through stories, songs, and activities, kids connect with the message in ways that make sense for their age and grow closer to Jesus.

BEYOND SUNDAY MORNING

Wednesday Programing

Wednesdays at 6:00 PM are all about fun, laughter, and hands-on adventures! For one hour, kids can play, create, and explore—painting, making prayer rocks, and even making lanterns—enjoying a new activity each week while discovering more about God in a relaxed, playful setting where  kids can be kids. Children's Choir

Our Children’s Choir is a fun, music-filled program for 2nd–6th graders, meeting on Wednesday nights from 6:15–6:45 PM in the choir room. Led by our Music Director, Jason Chavarria, children sing, learn new songs, and perform for the church family in the fall and spring. Prayer Buddies

Prayer Buddies is a special program where children are paired with an older member of our church family to exchange letters throughout the month. It’s a wonderful way to connect generations, build friendships, and share encouragement. The program runs during the school year and concludes with a celebration at the end of the year, honoring the relationships and memories made along the way.

Drama Team Ministry

Our Kid’s Drama Team is a fun, creative program for K–5th graders! During rehearsals, children play drama games, try improvisation, and act out Bible stories, all while building confidence and having a blast with friends. Summer Programs

Summer at our church is full of fun, hands-on activities and exciting adventures for kids! Programs and activities change each year, so there’s always something new to explore. Be sure to stay tuned to our announcements and church calendar for details—summer fun is just around the corner!

Special Events

Throughout the year, our Children’s Ministry hosts signature events that are full of fun, creativity, and faith-filled memories! Celebrate Easter with our exciting Easter Egg Hunt, and help us bless local children through donated Easter baskets. Kick off the school year at our Back-to-School Bash, complete with water slides and the Blessing of the Backpacks. In October, enjoy Felloween, a festive celebration of the season with a Not-So-Spooky Nature Trail. We close the year with Children at the Manger, where kids joyfully recreate the Nativity during our Christmas Eve service. These events are designed for fun, fellowship, and growing in faith!

Fellowship Mom's Connect

Our Moms’ Connection Group is a relaxed and welcoming space for moms to connect, share, and enjoy a little time for themselves. We host special events in the fall and spring, from sourdough bread baking to flower arranging, creating opportunities for friendship, creativity, and fun. It’s a peaceful and enjoyable way to build connections with fellow moms.
