Snack Sacks Ministry

Fellowship UMC's Snack Sacks Ministry provides weekend snacks for students in need at Lakeview Elementary, Roanoke Elementary, Medlin Middle School, and Beck Elementary. By providing these snack sacks, we help ensure that children have food to take home when school meals aren't available over the weekend.

On the first Sunday of every month, following the 11:00 AM worship service, our church family gathers to pack more than 580 snack sacks. It's a meaningful opportunity for children, youth, adults, and families to serve side by side while making a tangible difference in the lives of local students.

It costs approximately $3,780 each month to keep this ministry going, and every dollar directly supports the food that fills each snack sack.

Whether you have an hour to serve or would like to make a financial gift, there is a place for you in this ministry. Join us on the first Sunday of each month to help pack snack sacks, support the ministry with a donation, or do both. Together, we can make sure local students have the nourishment they need and are reminded that their community cares.
